Te Puni Kōkiri Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work plan 2025

Te Puni Kōkiri organisational values, particularly manaakitanga and he toa takitini, guide us to inclusive behaviours. To support whānau to thrive, we need to have a workforce that can understand, and reflect, the Māori communities we serve, and we are committed to ensuring all kaimahi can achieve their full potential in a workplace free from inequities.

Te Puni Kōkiri Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work plan for 2025 brings together the complementary public service work programmes of Kia Toipoto | Gender and Ethnic Pay Gaps plan and Papa Pounamu | Diversity and Inclusion work programme. Te Puni Kōkiri 2025 work plan supports us to meet the legislative requirements of the Public Service Act 2020 (in particular sections 73 and 75), the Human Rights Act 1993, and the Equal Pay Act 1972.
