Whānau Ora Commissioning Agencies for the North Island, South Island and Pacific Families
Te Puni Kōkiri today (Friday 23 August 2013) issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for three Whānau Ora commissioning agencies on the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) website – www.gets.govt.nz
Te Puni Kōkiri is seeking to contract the delivery of commissioning agency functions for Whānau Ora from three non-government organisations (NGOs) with knowledge, expertise and networks to build capability:
- for whānau and families with a North Island focus
- for whānau and families with a South Island focus
- for Pacific families.
Te Puni Kōkiri is responsible for leading the NGO procurement process with support from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs.
NGOs with the knowledge, expertise and networks to build capability for families and whānau will be selected through a fair, efficient and competitive procurement process. The process is open to all interested parties including existing organisations, new entities and consortia.
