Te Puni Kōkiri has supported a project to complete the production of an audio-visual representation of the Ngāi Tahu creation story. Ngāi Tahu were invited to exhibit at Te Papa Museum in an exhibition that will run for two years.

The exhibition has four primary themes: culture, tenacity, sustainability and innovation.

These themes express the ideals and practices of the iwi historically from their beginnings through to modernity. The audio-visual display is central to the exhibition.
