Feedback Opportunity: Ngāti Maru Deed of Mandate
Ngāti Maru (Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Maru Trust) seeks recognition from the Crown of its mandate to enter into direct negotiations for the comprehensive settlement of all historical Treaty claims of Ngāti Maru (Taranaki). The proposed settlement will require negotiation and ratification by Ngāti Maru before a Deed of Settlement is signed with the Crown.

The Office of Treaty Settlements invites submissions, views or inquiries about Ngāti Maru (Taranaki) Deed of Mandate. The mandate document and addendum are available to view below.
Submissions must reach the Office of Treaty Settlements no later than 22 January 2016.

All correspondence will be subject to the Official Information Act 1982 and a copy of your submission will be forwarded to Ngāti Maru.
