Māori Business Facilitation Services

In 2010 the Māori Business Facilitation Service after 10 years of operation had worked with more than 8,000 Māori business entrepreneurs, of which approximately 3,500 also received a business mentor. For more information go to; http://www.tpk.govt.nz/en/services/business/ .

Māori Language Sector review

The Minister of Māori Affairs appointed an independent panel to review the the Māori language sector to ensure the programmes and expenditure are responsive to iwi/Māori needs. For more information go to; http://www.tpk.govt.nz/en/consultation/reviewmlss/ .

Māori Youth Council

Fourteen young people were appointed by the Minister of Māori Affairs in 2010 to form the Māori Youth Council, to give the Minister and Te Puni Kōkiri advice and feedback on issues affecting rangatahi Māori.

Rugby World Cup 2011 free to air

Whānau Ora
